Marsh Community Centre is inviting everyone to come together for a fun and friendly afternoon of gardening at the new Holly Walk Community Garden on Sunday, 14th September at 2:00pm. 🌷🌿

The event will see local residents planting a variety of spring bulbs to bring colour and life to the garden in the months ahead. No gardening experience is required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved! Children are very welcome to attend with their parents, and spades will be provided, although participants are encouraged to bring their own if possible.

If the weather stays dry, there will also be an opportunity to help paint the raised beds, adding even more vibrancy to the space. To make the afternoon extra enjoyable, hot drinks and cake will be provided for all volunteers. ☕🍰

Those unsure of the location can meet at Marsh Community Centre at 2:00pm to walk to the garden together.

“This is a lovely chance for neighbours to get together, enjoy the outdoors, and help make our community spaces beautiful for everyone,” said a representative from Marsh Community Centre.🌼 Everyone is welcome — come along, lend a hand, and help plant something wonderful for spring! 🌼
