How beautiful are these… a local resident gets these from an allotment and one of our volunteers distributes them to our residents.

Update on Covid 19

Debz and Chelsea are doing their usual work over social media and telephone, any help needed with benefits, food, household items, clothing, please get in touch.

Although we are unable to open safely due to the government guidelines we are starting to do some outreach work, there are various organised events going on and our youth work staff are starting to run some sessions, these have to be risk assessed and all necessary precautions taken to ensure everyone is safe. Please be respectful of staff and each other.

COVID-19

Good morning everyone, although our doors are still closed due to the social distancing rules set out by the government we are very much still playing an active part in the job we do to provide the community with any help they may need. We are ensuring food bank referrals are taken care of for those who are most vulnerable. We are still helping people with benefit claims over social media, telephone, email.
Funding applications are continuing throughout this covid pandemic too !
We are also trying to keep the young people entertained through social media and taking part in small activities.
All staff are continuing with their on -line training to be able to offer the best possible service to the community.
Donations have been collected, distributed to families in need, washing machines, microwaves, kettles are just a few items we have been able to help out with.
We have also been busy raising money for the victims of the recent fire.
We are soon to be starting on our new allotments and also distributing our covid parcels to our vulnerable members.
Our Food club is being run by Eggcup currently who deliver to your door.
Our volunteers are busy too contacting the vulnerable by telephone ensuring they are ok. Think that’s just about all!
We miss you all, hopefully we will be back to normal soon.

COVID 19

Due to the current situation we have unfortunately had to close the community centre until further notice. However we are still working hard to help the community the best we can.

We are still able to help people claim benefits, fill in job applications, refer people for food parcels, give support with mental health and any other issues. We can signpost if we cannot help.

Please call 01524 843300 if you need any help.
